After a lot of looking we finally decided on the 09 Clubman S, and we got it home last Saturday. I was pre approved through a credit union, This made the purchase a lot more easier. I even had the car for an extended test drive.
Stuff I like: Almost everything.. especially the barn doors, took it on a few twisty roads, Handling is tight and not like sitting on a ball(wife’s opinion), 29.9 mpg, and enough power on the highway..
Dont like: The clutch bite point is really high, need to get that fixed, the glass roof allows a lot of light into the cabin, may need to tint the hell out of it. And where the hell is the Temperature guage?
This is our official road trip car, and daily driver for the next few months, the Z4M will be put into winter hibernation for the first time in 3 years. The Mini will need some dynamat under the carpet, quieten down the cabin a lot more. Car came with winter tires, so that will need to go next year. All issue aside, it looks like a good little car..

Full glass roofs and barn doors are awesome!! GM is stupid for killing off the barn doors on the Suburban!

Glass roofs/sunroofs are awesome until the sun hits hard....
I knew someone who didn’t like the fit and finish of his Subaru, and then he used fuck tons of dynamat to make it feel like a Merc.

Love our ‘12 Clubman S - the club door made it easy for when we did need to carry passengers. That being said ... our ‘16 Hardtop S is currently being loaded onto a ship, and this will replace our ‘12.

Good looking car.. Like all the black headlights/trim.. I have been looking at prices to replace the ones we have, or I should just plastidip them I think..

Yeah we had a lot of direct sun when we went for a little drive on Sunday, need to do something... dynamat is awesome, the back seats are a bit loud in the clubman apparently, so I probably will just add some so that we can keep a conversation without having to shout too much..

I managed to pick up a set off someone selling their MINI. I still have my chrome ones so I’ll probably swap those back on along with the chrome grill before trading it in.
The dealer was supposed to share the professional photos with me once they finished them.
If I were to do it again I’d probably just plastidip them rather than pay for the stock replacement “blackline” versions.

but the headlights themselve were ordered from the factory as black - ‘12 had the option between chrome or black xenon
